This harness and ECU are for a stock or nearly stock 2002-2006 Gen II 2.2L Ecotec L61 engine.

I.E. stock injectors, drive by cable throttle body, stock MAP sensor and so on. This is a speed density system so it does not require the use of a mass air flow sensor (it does use an O2 sensor). The controller is an OEM unit and is tuned for sequential fuel injection for easy starting, smooth running and great economy.

This system will work with most early Gen II 2.2L Ecotecs (2002-2006) running the 7x reluctor wheel and plate style coil pack. If your 2.2L Ecotec has individual coils or VVT this particular harness will not work.

Warranty

CORE Performance products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. CORE Performance electronic components and products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. If the any part does not meet the limited warranty criteria an RMA number will have to be initiated to set up an exchange or refund.

The part must be returned to CORE Performance with an RMA number assigned to it, and if it is in acceptable condition, CORE Performance will issue credit directly to the customer. In addition, CORE Performance limited warranty specifically does not apply to products which have been modified or altered in any way, subjected to adverse conditions such as misuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or adjustment, dirt or other contaminants, water, corrosion or faulty repair, or used in racing activities or competitive applications other than those recommended by CORE Performance. This warranty does not warrant and disclaims all liability for products used in racing activities and/or applications, other than those specifically recommended by CORE Performance.
