Overview

This tensioner is made to fit the 1997-present Corvette style belt line. It is CNC cut from a solid block of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum here in the USA. We use these manual style tensioners in high horsepower applications when we cannot allow for belt slippage. They also help to eliminate throwing the belt at high RPM's.

Have problems stretching the belt? This may be a solution to your problem as it does not allow the belt to constantly relax then pull tight. All tensioners come with a provision for a 3/8" breaker bar for easy adjust-ability.

Warranty

CORE Performance products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. CORE Performance electronic components and products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. If the any part does not meet the limited warranty criteria an RMA number will have to be initiated to set up an exchange or refund.

The part must be returned to CORE Performance with an RMA number assigned to it, and if it is in acceptable condition, CORE Performance will issue credit directly to the customer. In addition, CORE Performance limited warranty specifically does not apply to products which have been modified or altered in any way, subjected to adverse conditions such as misuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or adjustment, dirt or other contaminants, water, corrosion or faulty repair, or used in racing activities or competitive applications other than those recommended by CORE Performance. This warranty does not warrant and disclaims all liability for products used in racing activities and/or applications, other than those specifically recommended by CORE Performance.
